  • Really? Only $1300 for a DUI? I live in Texas and a first time offense is $10,000 at least. Many times, depending on your lawyer and judge, they'll also put a breathalyzer in your car (which you also have to pay for) the first time you're caught. Conclusion: Texas sucks.
