OP, you really need to find a different kind of job. Opiate, not opium. Opiate is a type or class of drugs. Opiates include morphine, hydrocodone and...HEROIN! Did you know that people have heroin withdrawal? Omg, who knew! Dumb ass.
you can still have opium withdraws though. opium has most of those drugs in it's active ingredients. but someone could be addicted to smoking it. if he had a heroin withdraw, i'm pretty sure he would have stated it. but it's not that important.
actually you can smoke heroin too. i was an addict for three years, and even though i shot it.. one of my good friends smoked it. and actually almost all opiate withdraws are the same, regardless of if you smoke it, shoot it, or snort it.
oh shut up. 'some guy' is pretty anonymous, and do you really expect that doctors, psychiatrists, and lawyers don't talk about patients and clients to their families? because they definitely do.
I'm not sure about health care, but according to legal ethics rules it's OK to talk about a client/case as long as you don't use names or any identifying information.
Let's forget about the fact that you're probably too retarded to understand the difference between opium and opiates for a second. You texted some patient's health information and that then got posted to tfln. You should be cockslapped, then canned. Douche.
For the record. Opium is a FANTASTIC drug. If someone walked up to me right now and asked me if I wanted some I'd definately buy a gram from them and keep the 2 nickles it's smashed between.
I'd like to know who the fuck tries to correct the op on some of these things. There is no need to clear stuff up. 99% of people will still get the gist of most mistakes. OP isn't gonna try and fix it so just stop tryin to correct him
Lots of people still use opium. I do from time to time, along with hash and salvia. In the town I grew up in, they have programs for people to get off drugs, and opium is one of them, and so is opiates, and they are separate programs.
