First of all, if you think the current generation in college (tfln's target demographic) is terrible try visiting a halfway decent college, not a community college or even most state schools that don't deserve the title. And to any of you attempting to claim health care reform is a good thing, learn a bit about it. As for your comment about colleges I have to say it doesn't matter where you go, it's what you do. Some people can afford to spend 6 years at Harvard drinking on mom and dads' money and some of us have to pay for school out of pocket while working two jobs.

In England under a Parliamentary Monarchy, France, a Democratic Republic, and Canada, a Federation; socialized healthcare doesn't seem to be causing these problems. Having some experience with Soviet Russia I can tell you that although a lot was left to be desired, there were no problems with healthcare. btw, Russia was socialist, not communist.
