if he is going to a state college im sure he doesn't have to go to every class to get an A..... I didnt go to all of my classes every day and got a 3.9
dumbass. i hope the OP fails out of college and has to get a job scrubbing toilets at mcdonalds. seriously, a college education is not something to waste. not every one is so lucky as to be able to go at all, and this moron is bragging about having gone to class one time during the entire semester. fuck you.
Shut the fuck up. He/she is paying good money to go to school, let them fucking use it the way the fucking want to. Get the fuck over it. And just for wishing a shitty job upon someone, I hope you get hit by a fucking truck, turn into a retarded dick, and end up living like a fucking vegetable the rest of your life.
Christ. Your parents are paying thousands of dollars for your education, something MILLIONS of children around the world would kill to have. People like you make me sick.
yeahh no shit, either way the person who wrote this text is spending money to get an education and not getting it.. fucking stupid. a lot of people applied for the spot you couldnt give a fuck less about. im sure theyd o to every class, ever day.
You're all dumb. You don't go to college for an education, you're not learning anythig constructive or useful. You go to college for the little piece of paper called a degree.
Isn't 5:04's point still valid--that the OP cuts class entirely too often if the last day of classed is the only one during which he/she attended all their classes? The point still stands, even though 5:04 read the text too quickly. The OP is still wasting his/her education.
11:02, I don't think you get it. Nowhere did I say that I have lousy grades or attendance issues. Sure, I've missed a few classes, and I don't have a 4.0. But to say that I've "wasted an opportunity" is assuming, which you have done wrong. Realistically, the University sets guidelines that one MUST follow in order to keep the scholarship, including a minimum 2.5 GPA. Drop below that, and they drop the scholarship, and give it to someone else.
so all the greedy assholes here want to say that lousy grades and attendance is "their" problem, let's see; someone else that wants to be in the class doesn't get to go because your selfish ass got the scholarship and the fact that you are an self-centered pile of crap who wasted an opportunity that someone else would not have squandered doesn't bode well for our future. yes, i am in college and am appalled that some people put so little value on education
@ 5:04. That "moron" isn't bragging about only going to class once during the entire semester. They are bragging about going to "every" class for the first time in the semester. Dumbass
This would be much funnier if it was the way 5:04 presented it. But, of course it isn't because he was too fast on the draw and blew his load over nothing.
At least it was a text with potential, right?
What's wrong with State schools? I personally knew that it no longer matters where you get your undergrad from. Masters and above matters a way bit more. Plus I went to a state school cause I didn't want to owe $120k after 4 years of college.,
Preach it, 8:30. Some people are so uptight about "grades" and "virtues." Shut the fuck up. WE earned our way into these institutions, WE are spending thousands of dollars (in some cases, over a hundred dollars a class) to access these classrooms, WE have the freedom to decide to go to them or not. Some of these classes are electives like, "Integrity and bias in journalism." Fucking easy as shit. What OUR grade is at the end of the day is OUR problem. So YOU can shut the fuck up.
I'm pretty sure they go to The University of South Carolina: Upstate. But for us over here at Wofford College, also in Spartanburg, we still have two weeks of classes and a week of exams left until break!
Exactly, 10:37. Easy classes - fine. Blow them off sometimes, and you'll be okay. I don't condone it, but if you can get away with it, that's your decision. If you're struggling, or in a difficult class, obviously you need to go to (nearly) all the classes, or you'll fail.
I love how people are so extreme. You either have to be far to the left or far to the right, you can't straddle the line near the middle or anything.
Some people don't go to class because they can get by fine by reading the book and doing the assignments or whatever... don't be so quick to hate because maybe they are just smarter than you.
Just because you don't go to class doesn't mean you are 'wasting an opportunity'. There are two kinds of people who skip. The ones who drop out and the ones who are good at it.
'too many people are going to college these days' words of a fucking college dropout..you're fucking beyond retarded. Too many people wanting to get an education and better themselves? That's the stupidest thing i've ever fucking heard.
I am not sure which is funnier.. The original statement or all the responses. And to think I have been going to every class the whole semester... (but on the other hand there is a difference between 4.0 and 1.0 LMAO)
9:11.... YOU are probably not paying for your education... YOUR mommy and daddy probably are. YOU probably earned your way into a state school, which accepts anyone and offers easy electives such as "integrity and bias in journalism." YOU are probably getting a shit education, and YOU will probably go on to work some bottom-of-the-barrel corporate job. So yeah, YOU can keep bragging about not attending classes all you want... it doesn't make YOU a bad ass. It makes YOU an idiot.
As a matter of fact, my calculus professor is annoying and my history class was easy, painfully easy. However, that doesn't mean that I am going to skip the class. To state the obvious, it is December. Since most colleges started in August, if this is the first day that you attended all of your classes in one day, then you would have had to have skipped at least one class each day of class every day. That smacks of attendance issues.
Sincerely, 11:02
Keep kickin ass and skipping class.. I graduated college in the traditional 4 years and can honestly say I didn't go to everyclass of the day one time in four years.. Well except for the days I only had one class. I have a biology degree which is about as useful as using sand paper to wipe your ass. I slacked and guess who got into dental school! Piss off overachievers
Maybe he has one easy ass class that you don't have to go to. I have one this semester, I'm making an A in it. Doesn't mean I don't go to the classes that are actually important and challenging. Some of you are retarded.
9:42, I read the first sentence, and that's all I needed to know your argument was invalid. I EARNED a full-ride scholarship. If Northeastern doesn't like MY performance, then that's MY problem. Shut the fuck up.
to the people out there saying this guy is an idiot, and that he is wasting his parent's money, don't be so fast to judge.
i have to skip a few classes a week, so that i can work and pay for my own education and not be in crazy levels of debt. it may be fucked up, but that's the way it is sometimes.
@9:11 - totally agree. i'm graduating this year and already have a great job lined up, do I really need to attend women's health 101? it's an elective and the professor hasn't ever heard of proquest database. waste of time.
Are you people serious right now? It's a website about text messages. Let.it.go.already. If the kid wants to skip class, let 'em skip class. It's just a website...mainly based on drunken text messages. No need to turn this into a battle.
